Privacy Policy

Last updated · July 21, 2026

Anivya is built privacy-first. You own your health data, you choose how it's processed, and you can take it with you or delete it at any time. This policy explains what we collect and the controls you have.

Your data, your choiceExport or delete anytime
01

Our approach

We treat your health data as yours, not ours. We collect the minimum needed to run the app, never sell it, and give you real controls over where it lives and how AI uses it.

02

What we collect

Account details you provide; health, activity, nutrition, workout, mood, and environment data from sources you connect; reports you upload; conversations you have with Ani; and optional diagnostics that help us improve reliability.

Account: name, email, profile preferences
Health: wearable metrics, sleep, glucose, labs, meals, workouts, mood, and connected environment readings
Usage: optional crash and performance diagnostics
03

How Ani processes your data

You choose how the AI runs. On-device Ani and supported Apple on-device models process locally. Bring-your-own-key (BYOK) requests go directly from your device to the AI provider you select and are governed by that provider's terms. Managed Cloud Ani sends your question and relevant context to Anivya's contracted cloud AI processors over encrypted connections; our managed configuration does not permit that data to train their base models.

On-device Ani — processing stays on your device
BYOK Ani — sent directly to your selected provider
Cloud Ani — encrypted and handled by contracted processors
04

How we use your data

To compute your scores and insights, power Ani's coaching, sync across your devices, and — only with your consent — improve our models with de-identified data.

05

Sharing

We don't sell your data. Care-share is initiated by you and revocable. Vetted processors (e.g. cloud hosting) act under strict contracts and only to deliver the service.

06

Connected services

When you connect a wearable, Home Assistant, Apple Health, Google Health, Health Connect, or another integration, Anivya exchanges only the categories you authorize. Google Health and Health Connect data may include sleep, activity, workouts, heart rate, HRV, recovery-related metrics, nutrition, glucose, and other wellness data that you approve in the Google consent flow. Anivya uses that data only to provide app features such as daily wellness summaries, recovery insights, workout guidance, meal planning, progress tracking, and Ani coaching. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as needed to provide Anivya with your consent.

07

Feedback board

Anivya Feedback is a separate, public product-feedback service hosted by Anivya. If you choose to use it, we process the display name, email address, posts, comments, and votes you submit so we can organize requests and communicate product updates. Its database is isolated from Anivya health data. Do not post health readings, medical details, account information, or other sensitive data there. Contact support privately for account or health-data issues.

08

Your controls

Export your full data, delete your account and history, disconnect any source, and opt out of model improvement — all from Settings. If you no longer have the app installed, you can request account deletion at /account-deletion or by emailing privacy@anivya.health from your account email.

Export everything as a file
Delete account & data permanently
Disconnect wearables and revoke shares
09

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is least-privilege and audited. On-device and Apple Intelligence AI options can process your data right on your phone, without sending it to our servers.
